8/1/17
6’1, 165-pound prospect. On the mound, the right-handed pitching prospect brings an athletic, projectable frame. Very smooth delivery with clean efficient arm action. Uses a high leg kick prior to his drop and drive load. Smooth and efficient arm with low effort delivery. Fastball carries solid zip and has a heavy look. Locates fastball well and works both sides of the plate. His secondary pitch, the breaking ball works at a high ¾ delivery slot. Breaking ball has solid 11/5 break and works away from right-handed hitters. Works in changeup in pitcher's counts. Works best when he gets ahead in the count and is able to locate his goto strikeout fastball pitch. Has the ability to blow the fastball by hitters while also relying on offspeed to keep hitters off balance.

6-foot-0, 160-pound prospect. A righty swinger that starts open prior to using a leg kick load and controlled stride to get back to even. Hands stay fluid as they move back to launch position. Weight stays mostly on back leg at contact causing an uphill path. Has the natural tools to hit in the middle of the lineup. Worked mostly to his opposite field gap in batting practice. Does a nice job of creating angles with his pre fielding footwork in the infield. Actions are more athletic while playing outside of his funnel. Moves well laterally and showed confidence to both his forehand and backhand side. The 6-foot-0, 180-pound right-handed pitching prospect features a projectable long pitchers frame. Uses short arm action through an easy high-¾ slot. Fastball offers plenty of late life in the zone as it displays arm-side run at 82-84 mph. Best offspeed pitch is his 72-73 mph slider. The slider shows sharp, tight break deep in the zone. Also mixes in a 67-68 mph changeup.
