Stevie Nedlik: LHP/OF, (2022) Mentor, OH. 6-foot-3, 180-pound. Solid on the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Downhill shoulders with a athletic balance point. Lands closed with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-80 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1951; Avg 1786). His 1/7 curveball (67-68) has sweeping action. (Max spin 2060; Avg 1830). Had slight fading action and arm side control on his changeup.
Stevie Nedlik: LHP/OF, (2022) Mentor, OH. 6-foot-3, 180-pound projectable frame. On the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a quick arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 79-80 mph; has running action and arm side command. Shows gradual action on his 1/7 curveball (63-64). Showed fading action and arm side command on his changeup (66-68).
Scouting Notes:On the mound the lefty works with good tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Creates solid energy down the hill. Arm works. A guy who could have another jump left. Breaking ball drops in the zone with big, 1/7 shape. Strike thrower for the most part.
Fastball:77-78 mph. Mostly true through the zone.

Curveball:64-65 mph. Big shape, early pop, slurvish look.

Delivery Notes:Southpaw with a compact arm through a near high-3/4 slot. Arm shows a balanced combination of strength and speed. Good direction with lower half. Efficient movements. Any added strength should easily translate into more velo.
Fastball: True through the zone. More gas in the tank as he fills out athletic frame. 74-79 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate:1750-1860
Curveball: Sliderish look to it. Shows signs of sharpness to it when in the zone. 62-64 mph.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1710-1830
Changeup: Developing feel. Fastball look out of the hand with heavier run/dive. Solid, playable offering.
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
