More pop than frame would suggest. Line drive guy who works the middle well. Has the ability to get the ball into the gap. Bat plays in a variety of roles in a lineup. Behind the plate he has well above average athleticism for the spot. Gets out of his stance smoothly. Exchange skills are adequate and arm action fits the spot. 5/31/17 A righty swinger that starts an athletic setup. Takes his hands to launch during his toe turn load. Bat has definite quickness to it while working on a slightly downhill plane. Ball comes off his bat well showing gap to gap pop in batting practice. Consistently produced backspin to the middle of the field. An outfielder that uses smooth footwork approaching the baseball. Uses two hands while fielding to ensure ball security. Would like to see him maintain momentum through fielding into his throws. Throws were on target for the most part. Behind the plate he showed flexibility in his hips and solid footwork on his throws to second. Will need to quicken transfer moving forward. Throws were consistently on the bag.

At the plate he starts in a tall setup. Very simple mechanically. Bat path is level with some quickness to it. Swing is compact and he produced line drives to the middle of the field.
