6-foot-3, 235-pound solid frame. Solid in the box, Blakeman recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a quick load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was quick, displayed an upward swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Aggressive approach. Raw in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 68 mph; had a developing exchange, consistent footwork, and firm hands. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball deep. Some accuracy to the bag, used a stiff arm action and a ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 8.94 in the 60-yard dash. Raw on the mound, using a compact arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses decent effort. Showed even shoulders. Displayed a falling off finish Sat with his fastball at 69-71 mph; had a control around the zone that shows straight movement. Shows decent control and gradual action on his 11/5 curveball (59-62). Had fading action and arm side command on his changeup (68-69).
