Ty Roder: RHP, (2021) Anthony Wayne, OH. Wright State Commit, 6-foot-4, 200-pound. Advanced on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a long arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a tall balance point. Curveball (67-70 mph), changeup (70-71 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 86-88 mph.

Delivery Notes: 2021 Wright State commit. Average tempo, repeatable delivery. Polished mechanics, Low effort guy. Gets into his lower half really well. Releases from a ¾ slot with a long, loose arm action.
Fastball: Average spin rates. Works the bottom of the zone well. Fastball shows late arm side movement at times.
Fastball Spin Rate:1760-1960.
Curveball: 11/5 shape with some heavy late life. Swing and miss potential.
Curveball Spin Rate: 2170-2180.
Changeup: Shows good feel for a third offering. Thrown with fastball like arm speed with some late drop.
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 180-pound thin frame with long limbs.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Loose arm action. Sits in to lower half well. Effortless delivery. Overall solid mechanics to work from.
Fastball: 81-84mph. Slight arm side movement with ability to command both sides of the plate.
Curveball: 65-68mph. 11/5 movement with some bite. Above average offering.
Changeup: 73-74mph. Compliments fastball keeping hitters off balance.
Pitchability: Attacks the zone consistently with all pitches. True competitor.
Additional Comments: Very projectable arm.
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 170-pound athletic body frame. On the mound he has good rhythm and tempo in a delivery in which he uses regular effort. Lands in a straight line at foot strike and carries his momentum in good direction finishing toward home plate. Throws with average arm speed through a ¾ slot. His fastball shows arm-side run to it, thrown between 75-78 mph. His curveball has bite to it with good depth close to being on a 12/6 plane between 62-63 mph. Has a cutter that has cutting action thrown at 72-73 mph. Throws his changeup using fastball arm speed at 69 mph.
