Had a big weekend, looking the part in the box. Physical/athletic at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. The advanced natural tools allow him to generate low effort juice. Consistently turned on the ball with authority in BP. Top exit velocity of 93mph. In game he had several knocks, highlighted by a no doubt bomb. Showed well with the glove as well. Definite stock riser here.
Ty Sowers: SS/2B, (2022) North Canton Hoover, OH. 6-foot-3, 195-pound. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 92 mph. Begins in an athletic open stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick. He barreled up some balls during the round. Pull side approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 84 mph; has a quick exchange, soft hands, and athletic fluid feet. When fielding he gathers the ball out front. Clocked a time of 7.38 in the 60-yard dash.
Hit: Right-handed hitter that begins in an upright, slightly open stance. Feet are narrow to start, with a smooth loading sequence. Physical, strong frame, which produces explosive movements in the box. Hand strength/quickness is present. Balanced launch, with a level path through the zone.

Field: Worked out from the SS position. Tall, lanky defender with above average ball skills. Very athletic mover for size, with soft hands.
