Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is efficient, uses a short simple swing plane and balanced finish. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 72 mph. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 73 mph; shows soft hands, quick feet, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1729; Avg 1655). His 1/7 curveball has some action. (Max spin 1774; Avg 1738).
