An above average athlete for the first base position. Uses quick footwork off the bag, displaying developing ball skills through fielding. Looks to have feel for the spot. A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, closed stance. Hands move back to launch during his short stride forward. Load is simple and repeatable. Barrel travels through and uphill path to the baseball, displaying developing natural tools. Produced most natural ball flight to the opposite field. Contact type guy at this stage. Works quickly on the mound. Arm action is relatively clean with above average arm speed for class. Fastball comes out of a near over the top slot sitting 61-64 mph. Expect much more to come with maturity. Compliments the fastball with a sharp, 1/7 shaped breaking ball at 54-57 mph. A strike thrower with feel for both offerings.
