5/31/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Has some rawness to his mechanics but natural tools are there to be a middle of the lineup guy. Ball jumps off his bat, showing impressive strength through contact. Laced two doubles to his pull side gap during game play, one off the wall. Middle of the lineup potential at the next level. Ideal frame for the third base.  Looks comfortable and showed feel for the position. Moves well laterally and showed above average glove skills. Intangibles are there, tough kid that plays hard. Even though future looks brighter as a position player he also is interesting on the mound. Works through a high-¾ slot with quickness to his arm. A strike thrower that works off his 80-82 mph fastball. Complements his fastball with a sharp, 11/5 shaped breaking ball at 68-72 mph. Works with good tempo and competes.

Home to First: 4.91
Infield Velocity: 74
Exit Velocity: 87

6-foot, 179-pound athletic frame. At the plate he starts slightly open before his rhythmic, knee pinch load and short stride forward. Bat gets through the zone with obvious strength and batspeed. Ball jumps off his bat with power potential to his pull side. Reached a top exit velocity of 97 mph. In the infield he moves well and showed the ability to play low. Showed range to both sides and the ability to throw from different angles. Above average arm strength across the infield. Ran a 4.96 from home to first. A two-way prospect that offers a three-pitch mix off the mound. Was able to locate his fastball on both sides of the plate at 79-81 mph. Also spun a sharp, 11/5 shaped breaking ball at 58-60 mph.
