8/12/18 Talented arm in the 2019 class. Good tempo on the mound with an efficient delivery in general. Clean/live arm through a high-¾ slot. Will vary tempo and leg lift up there to create deception and disrupt hitters timing. Fastball is heavy with substantial late arm side action at 83-86 mph. Enough movement to make the pitch tough on hitters from both sides. Breaking ball has late, sharp action on a near 12/6 plane at 70-74. Also tosses a changeup with fastball armspeed at 77-79 mph. Both secondary offerings are quality when in the zone. Scholarship level stuff just needs to compete in the zone more consistently.
6/6/17 A right-handed pitching prospect in the 2019 class. Very mechanically efficient on the bump. Arm action is clean while moving through an in between ¾ and high-¾ slot. Arm has definite quickness to it and the ball comes out of his hand well. His slot puts solid run on his 82-83 mph fastball. Offers a changeup and breaking ball for his secondary pitches. Changeup has the same run as his fastball, crossing the plate at 74-77 mph. Breaking ball is tight with depth at 70-71 mph. The pitch has an 11/5 shape to it and he used it to freeze righties.
1/22/17 On the mound the righty has a slower tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Arm works well with looseness to it. Impressive pitchability for his age. His fastball showed substantial run at times while coming in at 79-82 mph. More velocity to come with maturity. Slider is very sharp as it moves across the plate at 69-71 mph. Hiss 11/5 shaped breaking ball has big, early break at 64-66 mph. Arguably his best offspeed pitch was his 72-74 mph changeup. The pitch showed late run/sink and he was consistently in the zone with the pitch.
1/16/17 A talented 2019, right-handed pitching prospect. Very mechanically sound with loose, clean arm action. Works through a high-¾ slot while sitting 78-80 mph with his fastball that showed heavy run. Has an array of off speed pitches with his best being his slider. The pitch has good depth and sharp action as it darts across the plate. Also spins a 10/4 shaped breaking ball that showed sharpness when in the zone. Was able to maintain fastball arm speed on a changeup that had similar action to his fastball.
9/18/16 - Max FB: 80, FB: 78-79, CB: 68-71 5-foot-11, 155-pound slender RHP uses short and clean arm action with some quickness in the arm to produce above average velocity for age. Works through a high-3/4 slot with normal effort in delivery, fastball shows occasional slight arm-side run, curveball has 11/5 break and solid depth when down in the zone. Treadway is a strike thrower with good upside as he continues to physically mature.
7/26/16 5-foot-10, 150-pound athletic frame with room to fill out. A good athlete on the mound. Has a quicker tempo and generates sufficient energy to home plate with his lower half. Arm action is short with obvious quickness to it. Ball comes out of his hand well with a fastball that was anywhere from 79-81 mph. Complimented his fastball with a tight, 11/5 breaking ball that hitters had trouble picking up throughout his outing. Changeup was equally as impressive as he was able to keep it low in the zone and maintain his armspeed.
