6/6/16 6-foot-1, 190-pound athletic, projectable frame. A talented prospect that showed off a smooth swing from the right side. Starting in a tall, open setup he uses a fluid stride into a toe turn load to get efficient use out of his lower half. Hands stay simple before getting the barrel through the zone with above definite strength and batspeed. Would like to see him loosen up his hands a bit to create more natural whip into contact. Topped out at 84 mph exit velocity off the tee with much more left in the tank. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. He has an above average arm, which is fluid and has great touch. Actions work well on the run. Will be aided by adjustment and maintain momentum through the baseball.
2/15/16 A talented infielder with an athletic build at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds. At the plate the righty starts in an athletic, slightly open setup before getting back to even through an aggressive stride. Bat gets through the zone with obvious strength and batspeed on a slightly downhill path. Was able to make consistent hard contact and could have power potential once he learns to incorporate more of his lower half in his swing. Reached a top exit velocity of 79 mph with much more in the tank. In the infield Nate is very mechanically sound. Using quick footwork he is able to create efficient angles to play through the ball carrying momentum towards first base. Showed confidence in his glove with the ability to remain fluid and athletic on the move. With loose arm action he threw across the infield with 79 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.25 from home to first base.
