5.11.17 Hall, the top amateur position player in the country showed off his tool set on a cold day at the ProCase. On a tough track, Hall ran a 6.70 sixty with regular effort while showed soft hands defensively and a live arm across the diamond, showing his strength by going to his left, deep in the 6 hole and making the play. At the plate, quick bat and showed line drive contact across the diamond while turning and getting the barrel out with some power to his pull side. Best swing came during game after he took 94 mph just under his chin, Hall turned on a 93 mph inside heater that he yanked into the parking lot foul but was loud and had no doubter written all over it. The Texas A&M commit looks to be a high pick this June and could be the first canadian position player taken.
Top prospect for class of 2017. 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame. Plus runner with a 60 time of 6.50. Chance to be real good hitter with short, fluid swing and extremely quick hands. Different sound comes of bat. Will hit for power eventually, surprises some given his size with what he can physically do currently. In the field, agile lower half with great athletic actions. Proper arm action, ball is easy out of hand at 89 mph across the infield. Makes the easy and difficult plays, two highlight reel's at last year T12. Gamer who plays the right way, draws a crowd everywhere he goes. Chance to be a special player with continued development.
