9.9.17 - 2019 right-hander, Armitage has room to carry more size moving forward to his 6-foot frame. Clean delivery from armitage, arm works in back and gets outfront from 3/4 slot. Slow tempo delivery with room to create more from lower half and bump velo as he sat 75 for most of his session. Breaking ball 10/4 shape and was in the zone with proper spin at 62-63 while the changeup worked in the 66-68 range with fading action when down in zone. No red flags and Armitage has actions to increase numbers moving forward.
