8/16/18 Big and strong right-handed bat who committed to Niagara CC at the end of the fall season. Biggest tool is the bat where he lets it eat, not getting cheated as he had one of the top exit velo’s at TPG with a 94. Corner infielder who likely gets moved to 1B at the next level but can be a middle of the order bat and power threat that can leave the yard with ease.
7/5/17 Brazier, a sturdy 2019 grad listed at 6-foot-1, 195-pounds, had a strong day at the FGT on both sides of the ball. Two-way prospect who works at the corners in the infield, Brazier has feel and a presence in the box from the right side, starts open with small leg kick to stride, bat works through the zone with some whip and found the barrel both during BP and in game action. Looseness to swing with extension through the ball, chance to hit for some power as he matures, took pitches well and stays balanced for duration of swing. Defensively, arm showed some carry across the diamond, hands works out front, will need to continue to work on lateral movement from the hot corner. On the mound, Brazier worked in the low 80's while showing feel for curveball that had 11/5 shape and proper rotation. Delivery was compact and arm worked from 3/4 slot out-front. Chance to excel both ways, we like the way Brazier swings it and should be one to keep an eye on with the way he swings it. 60-Yard Dash: 7.75 Exit Velocity: 84 INF Velocity: 78
