Long athletic frame standing 6-foot-1, 187-pounds. Hits with a slightly wider base, starting open, and uses a quick leg lift to stride landing square. Hands are relaxed before loading back and dropping slightly with a vertical bat. Short to the ball and displayed a level path getting through the zone. Flashed ability to pull hands in and turn on a pitch when needed. Lower half finished with aggression and swings with intent with pullside tendency. Exit velocity was 92 mph. Defensively Stefan displayed active feet on approach. Attacked the ball vertically and worked through the throw well. Clean quick exchange to a shorter arm action throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 83 mph. Ran a 7.15 60. On the mound delivery showed some pace. Starts with a side step rocker, hips elevated at balance, foot kicks out, shoulders closed and slightly uphill moving down the mound. Lands open at foot strike and finishes towards the plate. Full arm circle and throws from a low three-quarter arm slot. Fastball worked to both sides of the plate. Had an above average feel around the plate with the 76-78 mph fastball. Changeup had really nice action and showed to be a solid secondary pitch. Had intent and arm speed with late hard diving action and slight fade. Changeup sat 71-73 mph.
