2.18.19
An infielder on the Great Lake Gators Carpenter was yet another junior who impressed. From the right side of the batter's box, he starts with his hands held up high before dropping down and getting to the point of contact on time. Carpenter showed the ability to get out front and line balls up to 85 mph. In the infield, Carpenter displayed rhythm and the proper footwork needed to field various ground balls. He was up to 75 mph throwing across the diamond. It was a solid showing from Carpenter as he showed little holes in his game.

Campus Series St. Bonaventure (July 31, 2018)
Stands 6-foot-0, 165-pounds from a lean projectable frame and ran a 4.65 home-to-first. Even setup in the box. Hands are loose and relaxed, high around his back ear. Short to the ball, direct path, barrel is mostly level through contact, medium length finish, 80 mph exit velo. 3B fields out in front, shuffles feet to his target, shorter arm-action, high ¾ slot, 75 mph arm-strength.

Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)

6-foot-0, 155-pounds with a build able to hold more weight as he matures. In the box, upright stance, shoulder width apart, attacks the ball in front of the plate on a long barrel path, exit velocity was 75 mph. Defensively, wide setup and stays behind the ball, glove open and out in front. Releases the ball from a high 3/4 slot with arm-strength at 70 mph across the diamond. He ran a 7.59 60-yard dash.
