Athlete with quick twitch. Bat path stays through hitting zone and barrels up baseball with gap to gap power right now. Flashes leather defensively with more than enough arm across the infield. 7.00 runner but plays up in game. Instincts with aggressive style of play. Top prospect in the infield in the 2018 class.

5-foot-10, 175-pounds with current strength, Carinci is beginning to physically mature and fill out. Great athlete with impressive fast twitch movement. Smooth glove at short, throws from a ¾ slot, displays a very quick transfer, soft hands, and clean arm action with zip on his throws. Body moves well, especially the lower half, very quick on his feet. Showcases very good footwork at his position and had top velocity across the infield at 91 mph. At the plate, toe tap load, quick hands and short to the ball. Swing has small lift which allows him to drive ball in the air as he generates good bat speed. Displays some pop and line drive ability with lots of hard contact. A great prospect with a lot of talent, Carinci continues to show signs of being a top athlete at the next level as all his numbers continue to get better every time out.

Carinci, now 5-foot-10, 165-pounds with showed strength gains from the winter as he begins to fill out. Athletic player with very twitchy actions, ran a 7.19 on slow track which will only improve over time. At the plate, hands are quick through the zone, bat path would get long with lift at times, most balls in BP were driven to left-centre gap. At best when he stays short and hands are inside, really get to see the explosiveness and quickness. Defensively, actions are extremely athletic, moves well and light on his feet, shows range with arm strength that can play form the hole, gets to a lot of balls, footwork and glove shows signs of being a top defender. One to keep close attention to, love the athleticism he brings to the table.

Carinci is a 2018 grad with plenty of athleticism. At 5-foot-10, 155-pounds, Carinci shows great actions on both sides of the ball, very agile lower half to go along with quick hands at the plate and in the field. Carinci ran his best time to date in the 60-yard dash at 7.15, while he had an exit velocity of 82 mph and was 76 mph across the infield. Look for big things to come from the young shortstop.

One of the top 2018's in Ontario. Very athletic with great actions. Quick hands at the plate, generates bat speed with a compact swing. Advanced hitter for his age. Defensively, great first step, very agile lower half with soft hands. Arm is quick with good action, creates carry on throw with accuracy. Although early, Carinci has chance to be special player.
