2026 RHP Daniel Zayas, continues to grow and add size. Now standing at 6-foot, 180-pounds, Zayas worked downhill, with a long arm-action. Flashed his 3-pitch mix in his bullpen, the curveball has a vertical look to it and had a 2502rpm avg spin-rate. Flashed his slider as well, which is a tight spinner(2520rpm avg) and had an average HB of -13.6in on it. A 2026 grad who has continued to show improvements throughout the year and will be an interesting follow as he develops.
2025 RHP/INF Daniel Zayas has really grown and matured over the past year or so, now standing at 5-foot-11, 175-pounds. The added size has helped elevate his game on the mound where the fastball sat 75-77mph from a long, over-the-top arm action. Showed the ability to throw breaking ball for strikes at 64-66mph (2298rpm avg.) and with the arm action, creates a 12-6 look on the pitch. Also flashed a changeup at 66-69mph. Still a little raw on the mound with plenty of development to come but showed an improved overall game at the Future Games Trials.
