2018 grad with prototypical frame for catcher at 5-foot-11, 190-pounds, hitting from the left side. Young features with added strength gains remaining. Offensively, Magill hits from wide stance with big leg kick, hands have looseness to them with barrell control to baseball and natural lift to swing. Cuts of his finish, taking some power away from Magill, hands were strong as he had a best exit velocity of 88 mph. Behind the plate, agile in lower half, has some cleaning up to do with his footwork and throwing but arm strength is present with a velocity of 71 mph out the crouch. More finish in throws from back side would eliminate tailing action before bag. Hands showed softness and feel for position. Some rawness to game but shows enough tools to stay behind the plate and is a left-handed hitting catcher with strength to keep an eye on.
