Briggs (6-foot, 165-pounds) flashed several tools at the event. In the outfield the footwork was clean with improved arm strength on display. On the mound the arm action was smooth with repeated release point on all his pitches. The fastball lived down in the zone, CH had some arm-side run to it and the curveball had depth. In the box the swing is geared towards the middle of the field. Briggs stayed flat with quality plate coverage throughout the round. Briggs has noticeably added size and strength this offseason.
