Ferguson got the start in Game 2 of the NE Senior Games and made college recruiters look twice. The RHP was all over the zone sitting 84-86 with ASR on the FB, a tight SL and CH. He bounces off the mound with athletic actions and shows pitchability and compete. Ferguson is one of the more intriguing uncommitted ‘23 arms that will gain some college attention after his performance today.
2023 RHP Jack Ferguson had some of the best stuff among the arms at the New Year Open. Right-handed pitcher with a high-effort delivery and fastball that sat 84-85mph. Some strength on the mound already at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds and also mixed a slider and changeup. Interesting arm who should gain interest this summer as one of the better unsigned arms in Ontario.
