Forgues, a 2020 two-way guy out of Ottawa, was a standout on scout day. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds. Behind the plate, he displayed quick catch and throw skills. His arm works with whip up to 76 mph, throws had natural carry to his target, he ranged between 1.93-2.09 on the day. At the plate, he works compact, his raw athletic skills are clear, with bat path adjustments, he has lots of upside at the plate. He registered a 83 mph exit velocity off the tee. On the mound, his fastball was 82-83 mph with some sink, mixing in a 11/5 shaped curveball with some bite. Arm works quickly with a clean arm action. At the right school, he could play on both sides at the next level.
