6-foot-3, 157-pound, long, lean build, small frame, strength development needed. Made all the plays in the infield cleanly, creates angels, 73 mph across the diamond. Short left-handed swing, hands start low, comes towards the ball with a flat plane, showcased bat-to-ball ability, 80 mph exit velocity. Mahoney is a 2021 infielder who we look forward to seeing more of in the future.

Mahoney, a member of Whitby, is a 6-foot-3, 157-pound infielder. The 3B displays the ability to take correct angels to baseball’s before setting and throwing up to 73 mph. At the plate, Mahoney shows off a loose left-handed swing. His approach is more line-drive oriented, and off the tee he has been up to 80 mph. Mahoney is an interesting player with room to add strength and develop into a contributor at the next level.
