4/2/17 Pitchers frame at 6-foot-4, 206-pounds with room to fill out and gain strength. Arm works and is able to get out front from 3/4 arm slot and create downward angle on his fastball that sat consistently 84-85 mph. Worked to both sides of the plate and threw strikes while implementing curveball with 12/6 action and rotation at 70 mph. Curveball had depth and comes out same slot as fastball. Changeup worked in the 70-74 mph range with some feel. High ceiling for Dillon as the size is there and the arm works with some quickness out front. Velocity keeps getting better while ability to use off-speed make him a legitimate prospect in the 2018 class.
3/5/16 6-foot-3, 190-pound righty with a high ceiling. At the plate starts square, hands drift, visible athlete, tends to fall off-balance. Very raw mechanics on the mound, starts slow, ends with a quick arm, high ¾ arm slot, whips his head off to the side. Fastball sat 81-82 mph, spots it on both sides of the plate. Curveball can be worked on, telegraphs it slightly, will get better over time. A 2017 grad, Dillon should be fine by his senior year, as he continuously gets better with time.
