6-19-2018: Senior, L/R, DH/1B Mankato (Arkansas State) – 6-foot-3, 235 pounds. Large frame. Starts with his hands low, slightly open front foot. Strides straight back to the pitcher. Long swing with good bat speed and extension. Powerful. He owns the box once he steps in. Looking to pull the ball, mashes FB up and in. Can hit for power, but the long swing may lead to issues hitting for average with high strikeout potential. Saw the ball well in the one game I saw him, looking forward to seeing him again. Hit 3rd as the DH, and went 2-4 with a 2B and a HR. (Jake Stone)
