At 6-foot-3, 160-pounds, Earle is a long and lanky two-way player who will fill out as he continues to mature. Relaxed swing with a leg kick load, Earle stays inside the baseball and looks to spray it to all fields with a flat bat path. With added strength and a few minor tweaks at the plate, Lucas will be able to hit the ball with more authority. While an improvement in footwork is necessary, the arm works cleanly and tops out at 84 mph from the outfield. On the mound, is where the 2019 classman shows most promise. The lefty stays balanced on the mound, delivery is clean, the arm has some quickness, while he shows the ability to utilize the downhill plane effectively. Pounds the bottom of the zone with his fastball consistently which sits 74-75 mph. Shows some feel for his off speed stuff, his changeup sits a 68-69 mph, while his curveball sits 67-68 mph with an 1/7 shape. Earle shows some tools, especially on the mound and with added strength, will be able to take the next step in his development.
