Duwyn now listed at 6-foot, 150-pounds, ran a 7.47 in his lasered 60-yard dash. Defensively, fielded balls cleanly out front cleanly and worked from 3/4 slot across the diamond at 73 mph. Moved well in lower half, showing good first step and was able to get to balls on both sides. At the plate, hits with medium leg kick to separation, hands get back into launch position and weight shifts forward when front foot hits. Timing was slightly off, didn't get much extension on swings as hands would get steep at times. Was better when rhythm was in sync with lower half and hands worked to and through baseball.
60-Yard Dash: 7.47
Exit Velocity: 77
INF Velocity:I73
1/23/16
6-foot, 142-pound middle infielder with a loose body. At the plate he’s very quiet, hands start level, feet shoulder width apart, hands work well on the load, dives a bit with his front foot, back leg comes through the zone well, makes barrel contact but pulls off a bit early while registering an 80 mph exit velocity. Can hit the gaps a little more with added extension in his swing. Defensively, he moves well, gets to the ball, solid approach, a little rough with his pickup, releases from a high-¾ arm slot, 75 mph across the diamond. Duwyn has enough body to fill out, could be an outfielder with his current actions.
6/24/15
6-foot, 135-pound middle infielder with room to add strength gains. Rock back with leg kick to load,. Hands tend to drop and create a longer path at times. Exit velocity was 79 mph. Ran a 7.41 in the 60-yard dash. Defensively, moved well side to side, quick first step, showed softness in his hands while he worked from ¾ arm slot, was 69 mph across the infield with some arm speed.
