2024 RHP/3B Matthew Gaspar has strength throughout his game at 6-foot, 220-pounds and it translates to the mound and batters box. Might have more upside on the mound where he worked up to 81mph from a minimal effort delivery. Also flashed a SL at 70-71mph. Left-handed hitter with a fluid, balanced swing and some easy juice with a top exit velocity of 91mph and 311ft distance. Two-way prospect who consistently performs at a high-level for his Whitby program.
2024 Matthew Gaspar put together a good day at the Holiday Hitters Showcase, putting up the top exit velocity in his class at 90 mph. There's already strength in his game at the dish with a sturdy, 6-foot, 220-pound frame. The left-handed hitter worked middle to pull side with some loft in his swing. An intriguing '24 with offensive upside from the Whitby Chiefs program.
