The middle infielder Chang ran a 7.25 on the day and was one of the standouts defensively and carried into game action as well with a big time play at shortstop going into the 6 hole on a ball you thought was a base hit off the bat. The actions on the dirt play well with range to both sides, ability to throw from multiple slots and comes in on the ball well with body control and feel. The arm works with life and some length to it but can also get rid of in a hurry if needed. Offensively, it is a line drive approach with a level path, working from a wide and crouched stance in the box. A short load to get the bat started, he profiles as someone who will spray the ball around the diamond and use his hands and speed to get extra bags and put together tough at-bats. Chang is a very interesting 2021, listed at 5-foot-10, 135-pounds with room to mature and add strength gains. Twitchy actions at the plate, creates rhythm and gets the bat started, barrel works through zone and Chang showed a line drive stroke offensively. Arm really works in the infield and off the mound, there is whip and arm speed out front, can polish his footwork and delivery, but the tools play and speak to Chang's athletic ability. With the quick arm and hands, Chang is a 21' that plays up at the moment while he competes at a high level on the mound with bulldog demeanour.
