Up tempo delivery from the 6-foot-0, 190-pound right-hander who pitches like he is double parked at times. Waste no time on the mound and looks to go right at guys. Fastball sat 86-88 with good life out the hand and some arm side run. Pounded zone early on with fastball, gets good usage out of lower half. Mixes in curveball at 72-74 with more downward action and near 11/5 shape while the changeup ws 70-72, would be at best when he maintained arm speed and let it go. Clean actions with arm speed in the back to out front for Capuano, the frame is athletic and can get stronger, one of the top right-handed arms in the 2018 class.

Capuano works from 3/4 arm slot with upbeat tempo and rhythm in his delivery. Three pitch guy with a quick arm, fastball worked between 86-89 mph and sat in the upper 80's for most of his pen. Curveball has some velocity at 75-76 mph and more of a 11/5 and 10/4 shape, could make potential for slider in the future. Showed he has some feel with his changeup that showed fading action when on top. Athletic body type with room to get bigger and add strength. Capuano is a live arm that will receive solid looks from recruiters this summer.
