This was our second look at 2026 LHP Trevor Mintz in the past two weeks and the OBJ left-hander has some good characteristics to the fastball, aided by his over-the-top arm-slot. The fastball sat 79-80mph and was up to 82.3mph at the Ontario Blue Jays Scout Day. The fastball averages 21.0” IVB and -7.0” HM and has a chance to generate whiffs as the velocity increases. The offspeed stuff includes a curveball at 68-70mph and sweeping slider at 68-70mph (-2.0” IVB/12.8” HM).
