Listed at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds, Bal has a lanky projectable frame. At the plate he's upright, uses a minimal load and pulls the bat through the zone with ease. In the field moves well, tends to be heavy on his feet as he approaches grounders, doesn't come through the ball after his release. Bal is a young 2019 grad with room to grow, and he has the body to add muscle.

Young 2019 grad with long levers at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds. At the plate, Bal hits from upright position with slightly bent knees. Starts hands back with small load and stride, generates weight on back side, keeps hands up and above baseball, path was clean through the zone and showed signs of bat speed, exit velocity was 75 mph. Defensively, listed as a shortstop and third baseman, low-¾ arm slot across the infield with a velocity of 74 mph recorded, will need to fine tune footwork and actions but time is on his side as a 2019 grad who shows signs of having a chance to hit.
