2025 Ontario Future Games Trials
2026 RHP Ethan Pui is an arm who grabbed our attention at the Mississauga Preseason Invite back in February and impressed once again with plenty of strikes in his bullpen and a fastball that sat 83-85mph. Easy, effortless delivery and the velocity comes naturally, allowing him to locate the pitch well. The slider is still developing and there’s some depth to it at 74-76mph, along with feel for the splitter 75-77mph. Pui will be a must-see arm this summer in the EBLO baseball league.
2025 Mississauga Preseason Invite
There was a noticeable reconstruction of the frame from the last time our staff had eyes on Pui. Evidently, strength had been added and it showed in the metrics on both sides of the ball. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame produced a maximum exit velocity of 96.4 mph, and a peak distance of 354 feet. On the mound, the heater sat in the 86.6-87.2 mph range and topped out at 87.5 mph. Pui has made great strides mechanically/physically and could be an impactful two-way at the next level.
