Solid 6-foot, 175-pound build. Compact, repeatable delivery. Pitches out of a high three-quarter slot with a quick arm. Leads out of balance point with his front hip and stays on-line to the plate well. Best command at the event, routinely dotting the glove, especially to his armside. Fastball came out of his hand well and there could be more to come from the pitch that sat 83-86 and occasionally had good plane to it. Didn't have a great feel for his curveball early, but it sharpened up with 11/5 break at 67-70 as his outing went along. Also mixed in a firm change-up at 77-79.
Medium-build, attacks hitters out of a high three-quarter slot. Fastball sat 84-86, touching 87, in the first inning before settling at 82-84, touching 85, the remainder of his 6.2 inning outing. Primarily pitched by moving his fastball around the zone. Showed very good arm speed on a firm change-up at 79-80, while also mixing in a slurvy breaking ball at 67-68.
6-foot, 175-pounder with a quick arm who works out a high three-quarter slot and explodes out of his balance point. Fastball has jumped a couple ticks since we last saw him during the high school season to 82-83. Very aggressive with a good feel for his change-up at 74-mph that showed late run. Curveball at 67-68 backed up on his some, but showed solid 11/5 shape when right.
6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitter. Primary pitcher who starts from an open stance and strides to square. Holds hands in close to body and hides them behind his head a bit in load, which creates some length in his swing, but he also flashes some bat speed (85-mph exit velocity). Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Defensively, he doesn't have the quickest feet, but showed a smooth exchange and quick one-shuffle release with 79-mph arm strength across the diamond.
High-3/4 slot. Drop-and-drive delivery. Absolutely pounded the zone in a complete game effort, including back-to-back four-pitch innings. FB sat 78-79 and touched as high as 81. Wasn't afraid to pitch in against RHH. CB was a bit harder than last seen, clocking in at 66-67 today. The pitch varied in shape around its most typical 11/5 action and he showed a feel for dropping it in for a strike early in the count just about whenever he wanted to.
Youngster with a stab and wrist wrap out of the glove into a drop-and-drive delivery. Out of a high-3/4 slot, featured a fastball at 80-81 that had some one-plane armside action and a curveball at 63-66.
