Physical: Durable, connected 6-foot, 210lb frame with strength found. 7.78 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with a hinge out over the plate in the stance. Utilized a leg-lift stride while sitting back on a clean rotational move in the lower half to initiate the swing through a flat path towards a high two-handed finish. Recorded a pull-side approach mainly, working into the 85 mph exit velocity range at his peak. Developing bat-speed now flashes around the upper-60’s, as he looks to add consistent extra-base hit production.
Defensively: The third baseman featured on-time footwork with adequate pace at the hot corner. Bent in the waist and played under the ball with chop steps before releasing across the diamond. Handled the ball to his glove side showing moderate posture and a 74 mph best arm-strength.
