5/1/15 Tall, lanky righty with a 3/4 arm slot. Fastball sat 76-77 with a little sink. Relied heavily on a big sweeping curveball that was a quality pitch.

11/1/14 Corso is an interesting two-way prospect that sat comfortably at 75-76 from a 3/4 arm slot. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound righty gets some arm-side run to his fastball and has a frame that suggests significant velocity gains are possible. Corso's mechanics are repeatable and effortless and his 70 mph changeup shows some natural sink from the lower arm slot. Corso's best pitch is a 67 mph breaking ball that has slider action. The junior could be slotted to make the move to a full time pitcher if his frame continues to fill out and velocity spikes occur over the next two years. Corso showed solid feet and hands and got the ball across the diamond with ease. His frame caused him to play a bit more upright than some players of shorter stature, which had him fielding the ball deep at times. Offensively, he took loose, easy swings throughout his BP round. He has a high back elbow and a little bit of length, while his eyes stay level and the ball comes off the bat well.
