5/3/17 5-foot-10, 220-pound left-handed hitter. Received well and showed ability to get thumb underneath pitches at the bottom part of the zone, although can have unnecessary glove action on pitches already in the strike zone. Solid exchange out of glove; throws were on-line with carry and generated pop times of 2.15-2.20 in between innings. Backpicked a runner at second base on a failed bunt attempt. At the plate, starts from a balanced stance, but can be late getting his foot down, not allowing him to tap into his solid bat speed.
