Physical: Athletic, high-waisted 6-foot, 170lb frame. 7.08 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance from an upright position; hands pre-set with both elbows bent by the ears. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate the swing through a whippy, flat path towards a one-handed finish on the backside. Solid batting practice session with T92 mph bat-exit velocity (89 mph AVG) and 362 foot distance when getting the barrel out in front. Pound for pound juice.
Defensively: The outfielder showcased comfortable footwork in all directions, getting around the ball while leading with the chest over top. Funneled cleanly and released up to 80 mph to the bag from H ¾ slot.
Pitching: RHP - The righty settled in off the middle of the rubber; quick delivery with drop and drive, pounding the zone at 80-82 mph (55% zone rate). Added sweeping upper-60’s curve to keep hitters between speeds.
