Physical: Strong, XL 6-foot, 195lb frame with even proportions overall. 7.69 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, balanced stance with a slight bend in the rear-leg knee. Utilized a rhythmic, bouncing barrel off the shoulder before launching through a flat path into the hitting zone. Turned the bat head over the backside allowing for natural backspin through the middle of the field and a 42% fly ball rate per Trackman Baseball. Worked his way up to a 95 mph bat-exit velocity with high intent in the approach; rotational acceleration scores posted at 22+ G’s of force, alluding to early connection in the swing.
Defensively: The primary third baseman arrived on time to the fielding window with a wide-medium postured approach with slight bend at the waist. Accurate/soft glove hand out in front of the toes, funneling inward to the chest. Lengthy, high ¾ slot with carry across the diamond T78 mph.
Physically: 6’0 195 3B/OF ran a 7.64 laser timed 60-yard dash. Solid frame has natural strength in his body.
Offensively: Starts with a wide base and a very simple placement of his hands. He uses a short hand load that has a pause as it reaches back. The barrel works down through the ball, making contact out in front of his front foot.
Defensively: Uses long strides to approach the ball. His glove has a slight stabbing motion when moving laterally. Arm works long and OTT.
