Physical: Long and lean 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with leverage in his game; 7.93 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Balanced, traditional stance with slight rhythm in the hands pre-load, utilized a simple lift and replace stride in order to initiate the bat head through a fluid, flat path and into the hitting zone. Was connected throughout a low-effort approach allowing for hard line drive contact through the middle of the field (33% line drive rate). Hit into a stiff front side with balance at the plate yielding an 85 mph peak bat-exit velocity and a near 300 foot batted ball distance per Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The primary backstop flashed a low, compact setup behind the plate, adequate receiving skills with minimal glove hand movement at the catch point; pop times ranged from 2.28-2.34 with quick transfers to the throwing hand, got hung up at times in the takeaway, accurate 69 mph throwing arm from the crouch. Quality blocking skills getting narrow and covering the “5-hole” with the glove immediately; buried the baseball with down chest angles .. The first baseman featured feel around the bag with a moderate center of gravity and feel for lateral movements, fielded off of the middle of his body with a soft glove hand, accurate 76 mph arm strength across the diamond. 

Showcased feel for a lean 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame with some strength in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, even stance utilizing a leg-kick to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Hit down through the ball at times with occasional weight shift into a stiff front side. Displayed feel for his hands while recording a 77 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. The primary backstop featured adequate receiving skills with minimal glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.16-2.23 on accurate throws of 72 mph from the crouch out of a high ¾ arm-slot. Demonstrated adequate straight line footwork with repeatable transfers, yielding consistent throws on the bag. Flashed comfortability while blocking, beating the ball to the spot with the glove and showing recovery skills. The right-handed pitcher sat 72-74 mph out of a repeatable, high ¾ arm-slot with some downhill action on the fastball. Mixed in a 63-64 mph curveball with 11/5 movement across the zone and countered with a 65-66 mph changeup thrown with advanced sell featuring occasional small arm-side fade.
