Physical: The recent Youngstown State commit possesses a standout 6-0, 200lb frame with increased durability/strength in the movements. 7.25 runner in the 60-yard dash from a low, bursting start.

Offensively: RHH - Loose, capable setup with some hand rhythm pumping at the shoulder pre-swing. Utilized a controlled leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a flat, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Flashed good extension at impact and stayed back over the rear leg on turns allowing for increased loft and deep fly balls to the LCF gap. Recorded a 44% hard hit rate and a 345 foot peak batted ball distance per Trackman Baseball (95 mph exit velocity).

Defensively: The first baseman moved well to either side and beat the ball to the spot with trusted footwork. Compact setup and a soft glove hand funneling into the belt line, showed off adequate feel around the bag with athleticism present. High 3/4 / accurate slot and 80 mph arm strength with more available.

Pitching: RHP - Utilized the windup starting from the far left side of the rubber; short, front rocker step into a quick leg lift and drop/drive out towards the plate. Created good separation off the backside, allowing the arm to get some downhill tilt into the strike zone. Repeatable delivery with minimal head/neck movement allowing for easy velocity. Commanded the zone with a heavy 84-86, T87 mph FB with less than 2000rpms creating arm-side run/sink. A short slider was the counter at 75-77 mph that he could throw for strikes. Mixed a 76-77 mph CH that killed spin and could dive away from LHH. Will get plenty of chances on the mound at the next level.

Physical: Strong 6-foot, 210-pound frame that oozes durability in the actions. 7.65 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, balanced setup with the barrel waving above the shoulder for rhythm. Utilized a lift and replace stride and a slight move backwards to a power position to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. The lower half was extremely physical allowing for sink into the hips and violent rotation in the box. Generated consistent contact points at the front of the plate yielding hard contact to the middle/pull-side evidenced by a 91 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball. Showed off solid bat to ball skills as well with a 50% line drive rate which points to the ability to hit for average as well. A 298 foot peak batted ball distance will have to climb, but there looks to be room for more juice with a frame like that.
Defensively: The first baseman featured adequate feel around the bag with a medium-low center of gravity on the approach. Demonstrated a soft glove hand which played calmly out in front, but the momentum stayed in the middle of his feet primarily, neither attacking or retreating in the routes. Flashed an accurate 77 mph arm strength across the diamond out of a long, high ¾ slot.
Pitching: RHP - The primary righty worked from the stretch only with increased mound presence on the bump. Medium-high leg lift with good straight line backside drive allowing for a quick arm to race through at footstrike out of a high ¾ slot. An 83-85 mph FB worked mostly around the letters peppering the zone at a 44% zone rate with average IVB and HM numbers. Dropped in a 72-73 mph CB with late, down action that could be a solid out pitch in the future with further development. Displayed feel for a 75-77 mph CH with ability to kill spin (1596 average RPM’s). All three offerings were near similar release heights (hovering around 4.52 feet) creating occasional deception at the plate.

Physical: Solid and durable 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame with strength throughout the build, advanced feel for his body on the bump.
Pitching: RHP - Worked from the stretch only off of the left side of the rubber, high leg lift with slight hip coil at the top of the stack, leaned into a powerful lower half with good outward drive towards the target, got present downhill plane and a whippy, fluid high ¾ slot with a full arm circle. FB ranged from 83-86 mph with heaviness into the zone (1959 spin per Trackman Baseball), mixed in a 74-76 mph SL with horizontal shape and 1743 spin. Countered with a quality 75-77 mph CH showing minor arm-side fade and late depth.

2022 RHP Brandin Anderson (DuBois Central Catholic) Thick, strong frame. High effort delivery with a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball at 81-85 MPH with a 73-74 MPH slider and 77 MPH change up #PAStateGames

Physical: Physical and uber-athletic 6-foot, 190-pound frame. Extreme feel for his body in all movements. Recorded a 7.43 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Bent, balanced stance with feel for rhythm in the swing, hands start high at the ear and possess minimal movement upon load for timing mechanism along with a controlled leg-hang stride. The swing is short and powerful through contact with athleticism and adjustability in the lower half. Swing entered the hitting zone on a slightly uphill path allowing for carry to the pull-side.  Wore out the LCF gap with hard, consistent barrels, 93 MPH exit velocity during batting practice per Trackman.
Defensively: Plays low to the ground with a strong lower half generating quality first step quickness at the hot corner. Can get stiff at times in the posture upon fielding, fields the ball in the middle of his body and gets the ball out pretty fluidly on transfers, makes the play on the run with ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Longer and fluid on the arm swing out of a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 83 MPH.
Pitching: RHP works from the stretch only with hip coil at the stack while sitting 82-85 mph with present downhill action on the FB playing heavier at the knees, mixed in a 73-76 mph SL with late horizontal bite, and countered with a 76-77 mph CH with ability to throw for strikes on occasion.

Demonstrated feel for a physical 6-foot, 190-pound frame with present athleticism in his actions. The primary right-handed pitcher featured a controlled hip swivel allowing for repeatability on the mound. Showed some crossfire falling off hard to the first base side. Sat 82-85 mph from a live high ¾ arm-slot with extra up in the zone. Mixed in a 73-76 mph curveball with late depth flashing 11/5 movement. Changeups were thrown with advanced sell at 76-78 with occasional fade. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a leg-kick to initiate his swing. Generated advanced barrel whip through the zone with noticeable weight shift yielding natural lift to the pull side gap. Recorded an 88 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice and ran a 7.61 60-yard dash. The third baseman demonstrated active footwork playing through the ball with regularity creating momentum towards the target. A low center of gravity and adequate first step allowed for range to both sides. Registered accurate throws of 83 mph across the diamond.
