9/30/18 - Defensively, behind the plate shows confident, quiet glove hand in receiving and framing. Blocking technique is excellent with soft, square wall and solid trunk angle present. Feet are quick while transfer and arm stroke have length in recording 2.35 pop time on throw of 71 mph out of the crouch.
Offensively, 5-foot-7, 180 pound right-handed hitter initiates swing from open set up with knee to knee leg kick and stride to neutral. Separation and weight shift are solid. Hip turn is intermittently passive. Swing is short with hands being quick and direct to the baseball. Bat path is flat in registering a bat exit velocity of 83 mph.
