5.15.18 - High pitchability lefty with a plus changeup from a low three-quarters slot. Specialized in changing the hitter's eye level and slowing down bats. Great job keeping his off speed down in the zone and elevating his 83-87 mph fastball for repeated swing/miss. Best pitch was a plus 71-74 mph changeup with very good arm side life. Mixed in an occasional 74 mph breaking ball. Held runners with a good pickoff move. Balked once by exceeding the 45 degree angle, yet also picked off one runner. Potential Day 3 pick. Should excel at the lower minor league levels and who knows from there. Definitely worth the small bonus to find out.
