4.24.18 - Committed to Bryant University, Nicolas shows quick, clean actions in the infield and should slot in somewhere in the infield for the Bulldogs before long. Nicolas showed good range and soft hands, with an arm that should play at any infield position. Nicolas singled in this one, but also recorded two hard-hit ground outs that went right at opposing defenders. There is minor bat wrap but he gets into hitting position quickly, with loose hands and a level swing. On top of his on the field game, Nicolas had apparent makeup as a leader of the team, which should serve him well at the next level.
