Transferred from Springside Chestnut Hill to Lansdale Catholic as a junior.
6/19/16 Right-hand hitter, leg kick, simple swing, hands work, bat speed, gap-to-gap approach. Didn’t expand the zone, took his walks. Hit in the 2-hole. Aggressive on the bases, two stolen bases. Easy, athletic actions at shortstop. Loose low ¾ arm action. Handled plays when game sped up.
6/18/16 2018 2B showed good actions at second as well as a balanced set-up and a quick, level swing while staying on a breaking ball early and driving a fastball up the middle for a hit in his last at-bat.
8/1/15 Cunningham ran a 7.55 60-yard dash and flashed an 81 mph arm across the diamond with a solid glove hand. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder is likely a 3B prospect moving forward and showed more than enough arm strength to stay on the left side of the infield. Cunningham went hitless during the course of the PBR Future Games, but barreled the baseball in numerous at bats and showed advanced bat speed (90 mph) on evaluation day.

2/15/15 Cunningham appears more physically mature than his 5-foot-10, 170-pound listing suggests. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts with a open stance and strides to square. He hangs in the air with his stride, occasionally causing him to be late getting his foot down. However, when he's on time and his hands don't leak forward, his bat speed (92-mph exit velo) and strength have the ball jumping off his barrel. While his physical development will likely determine whether or not he outgrows shortstop and has to make the move over to the hot corner, Cunningham moves well and shows good hands in the field, while already having enough arm (85-mph) to play on the left side. He also ran a 7.26 60-yard dash.
