Physical: XL 6-foot-4, 210lb frame and looks the part. 7.28 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Crouched, even stance with the hand starting tight by the ear to start. Utilized a stretched back-load and heel-raise stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path that adjusted to different quadrants. Plenty of separation present and hit into a strong/firm front-side at impact. Recorded a T97 mph bat-exit velocity during his round while finding the sweet spot at a 60% rate. Also recorded a 79+ EDGE Score, which ranked highly amongst his peers.
Defensively: The backstop alternated between traditional and left knee down with good hip mobility. Good pocket awareness on the catch with thumb up through the ball. Pop times ranged from 1.96-2.07 with pre-set feet at a 45 degree angle on the “load.” Simple exchange and in/out release from H ¾ slot as the ball carried to the target (82 mph arm).
