10/8/16 Wallace is a big boy at 6-foot-6, 228-pounds, and his 86-88 fastball is difficult for hitters to pick up as it jumps out of his hand, seemingly picking up a second gear halfway to the plate.  He struck out four over five innings while yielding just three hits.

6/15/16 Physical 6-foot-5, 235-pound righty sat 81-84 with a long arm motion. Tendency to pull arm across his body which leads to occasional command issues. As he grows into his frame and better incorporates lower half command should improve and velocity is likely to spike. Also flashed a curveball at 66-68 that showed 11/5 rotation. Worked three innings with three strikeouts.
11/7/15 Wallace didn't author the top bullpen at the event, but there is little doubting the upside in his 6-foot-5, 235-pound frame. Pitched out of a three-quarter slot from a long, deep arm action. Will work around his front side with an upright finish and some recoil, yanking the ball gloveside at times. His fastball sat 83-85 and he has a chance to throw a heavy ball if he can consistently get downhill over his front side. Showed a solid feel for his change-up at 75-77 with armside action. Curveball at 72-74 is still a work in progress, but it did show a little more depth than when we last saw him in June.

6/30/15 Very projectable 6-foot-5, 235-pound right-handed pitcher. Sat 82-84 from a 3/4 arm slot with some crossfire action to his delivery. 72 mph slider showed flat 9-6 break. Displayed solid feel for a 75 mph changeup that he turns over with some sink. Still developing physically and maturing into his frame but upside is evident. Wallace has shown a 6-8 mph velocity spike in just the past 18 months and additional velocity is still likely.

11/16/13 Wallace is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound RHP that sat 74-76 with run to his fastball. The 8th grader has a projectable body and repeatable mechanics that should lead to considerable gains in velocity as he matures into his frame. Wallace also displayed a 61 mph curveball and a 68 mph changeup at near fastball arm speed. Wallace will be a prospect to follow closely in this class.
