Horew went 5-for-6 with two doubles and an inside-the-park home run in game action and topped at 86 mph on the mound. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a short, leg-lift stride. Demonstrated above average feel for the barrel and excellent plate recognition.

Hitters had difficulty picking up the ball as a result of Horew's hip coil delivery and the fact that he breaks his hands during his side-rocker step. Sat 83-84 from a high 3/4 arm slot, topping at 86 mph. Also flashed a 74 mph curveball with slider action. Worked two innings allowing one run on one hit while registering two strikeouts.
7/20/14 Horew ran a 6.90 60-yard dash and flashed an 87 mph arm from the outfield. The 6-foot, 165-pound junior went 2-for-10 at the plate in game action. Horew starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a lift and replace stride to create a bat exit velocity of 85 mph. The right-handed hitter displayed the ability to barrel the baseball routinely to all fields during batting practice. Horew sat 81-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot while commanding a 73 mph curveball during a scoreless inning of work on the mound.
