Physical: Advanced, powerful 5-foot-11, 195lb frame with feel present. 7.09 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, crouched stance, as the hands operated calmly just off the shoulder to begin. Utilized a stretched lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill, connected path that extended well towards the middle of the field. Lots of rotational acceleration present with strong wrists winning at the point of attack. Drove the ball with consistency, up to a 67% sweet spot rate, and grabbed T91 mph bat-exit velocity (88 mph average).
Defensively: The backstop featured a strong, quick throwing arm that cut down three runners total during gameplay. Sat deep into the crouch and created some good explosion off the back-hip down to 1.96-2.05 at 77 mph arm-strength. Featured down chest angles and recovery ability.
Physical: 5-foot-11, 195 pounds; Average, proportional build. 7.34 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a high finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.09-2.19 pop times. C - 75 MPH.
Physical: 5-foot-11, 195 pounds; Broad shouldered, average build. 7.09 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Lifts hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts in an athletic setup; average transfer with moderate length arm action. Developing arm strength with 2.12-2.27 pop times. C - 73 MPH. Consistent footwork/transfer will continue to drop his pop time range. Good, solid catchers frame.
