6/12/18 Showed athletic outfield actions in getting behind ball, catching at it's height and following throws. Showed ability to attack and play through ball on ground with confident glove hand on throws of 80 mph. Flashed quick twitch athleticism in running 6.72 sixty yard dash.
Offensively, initiates swing from neutral set up with controlled stride to neutral. There is good balance and rhythm. Weight shift and separation are solid. Bat is on plane early and late. There is considerable length and subtle top half drift. A bat exit velocity of 82 mph was recorded. Would benefit from maintaining top half posture. However, overall mechanics play well with potential top of the order skill set. Brickner presents as interesting 2019 follow.
